Bilawal Bhutto Controversy: US State Department spokesman Ned Price was asked about the recent remarks made by Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New York. He said that his country has multifaceted relations with India and Pakistan and he wants meaningful dialogue between them for the betterment of the people of the two countries and not a war of words. Significantly, relations between India and Pakistan have been tense over the Kashmir issue and the threat of terrorism from Pakistan.

He told reporters in his daily press conference on Monday (December 19), we have a global strategic partnership with India. I have also talked about deeper ties with Pakistan. These relations do not mean the advantage of one or the disadvantage of the other. We do not see them in relation to each other. Bilateral relations are vital to the promotion of our shared goals with India and Pakistan.
