Turkey Earthquake Updates: A 7.8 magnitude earthquake shook Turkey. Two consecutive earthquake tremors were felt here. For this, Turkish Airlines has increased the number of flights by including additional flights.

The US Geological Survey said the epicenter was about 33 kilometers (20 mi) from Gaziantep and about 26 kilometers (16 mi) from the city of Nurdagi. According to the US Geological Survey, it was centered at a depth of 18 kilometers (11 mi). Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has also swung into action after the devastating earthquake. He took stock of the situation by talking to the governors of the eight affected provinces over phone.

  4. Rescue workers and residents searched for survivors under the rubble of several buildings. Along with this, the dead bodies of many people have also been recovered from the debris.
  5. Officials say that the death toll can increase further. The number of injured is also increasing continuously. Due to the earthquake in Aleppo, Latakia, Hama and Tartus of Syria, there has been a scene of severe devastation.
