Pakistan PM Called Emergency Meeting: The attacks of the terrorist organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) have increased the difficulties of Pakistan. Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a high profile emergency meeting with the National Security Committee (NSC) on Saturday (December 31). According to sources, Pakistan’s Army Chief General Saeed Asim Munir had called a sudden meeting of top army commanders at the Army Headquarters on Tuesday (December 27). The issue related to TTP was seriously discussed in this meeting. General Munir has taken over the command of Pakistan Army only last month. After that this was the second meeting of the top commanders. After the meeting, it was told that the commanders have resolved to root out terrorism.

Increase in terrorist attacks in Pakistan

According to a report, TTP has become more active in Pakistan for some time. According to statistics, between August 15, 2021 and August 14, 2022, the number of terrorist attacks in Pakistan increased by 51 percent. In these attacks, 433 people lost their lives, while more than 250 people were injured.

Please inform that Taliban had captured the power of Kabul on 15 August 2021 itself. Since then there has been an increase in terrorist attacks in Pakistan. Since August this year, there has been a higher increase in these attacks than before. According to media reports, Pakistan may soon start a major operation against terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
