Noma Restaurant Closing: The popular Noma restaurant based in Denmark is going to close in 2024 next year. Noma was established in the year 2003, after which it has been awarded the title of the world’s top restaurant several times. Noma opens and closes according to the season, it is very difficult to get a seat to eat here, because the seats are always full in Noma.

Amidst this sad news, one important thing is that Noma is not closing forever. Rather, it will reopen in its new form in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. RenĂ© Redzepi, co-owner of Noma restaurant and renowned chef, took to social media to announce, “We (Noma) have to change in order to stay in the market. As you know, Noma is closing because we’re looking for a new one.” Chapters are starting Noma 3.0.”

Last seat booking in 2024
According to media reports, Noma restaurant has been preparing and serving Nordic food for two decades. In this way, the booking of the last seat for eating food in Noma will be done in the winter of 2024. This renowned restaurant is known for its innovations and new flavors in its kitchen and the food it serves.

Noma needs to be changed
A report in The Independent states that the decision to close this world-famous restaurant was taken by Chef Redzepi. He realized that this needed to change in order for the fine dining industry to survive in the long run. Redzepi said, “We have to completely rethink the industry. It is very difficult, and we have to do things in a different way.”

Let us tell you that earlier in the year 2016, Noma restaurant was closed for re-branding, which reopened in 2018 after two years. After the re-branding, Noma came in a new avatar. Now after 6 years, this restaurant is once again preparing to get into its new avatar.
