Iran Special Force IRGC: Britain and EU preparing to declare Iran’s Special Force as a terrorist organization, know what is the whole matter
Recently, Iran had sentenced former government minister Alireza Akbari to death. Iran convicted Alireza on charges of spying for Britain and later hanged him. Alireza Akbari also had British citizenship.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Iran is the country’s special force. It fights for the country on the political, economic and religious front. This special force protects Islamic interests along with the ongoing domestic crisis in the country. Britain and the European Union are trying to declare this special force as a terrorist organization soon. Earlier, Britain had accused Iran that Alireza was called from Britain to Iran by luring and sentenced after going through a rigorous judicial process by making serious allegations. Iran’s intelligence agencies tortured Alireza for 3500 hours and forced him to confess.
US has included terrorist organizations in 2019 itself
Germany’s Foreign Minister Annalena Bayerbock and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen have also appealed to include the IRGC in their list of terrorist organizations. Both of them cited the role of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in cracking down on the ongoing protests in Iran.
The European Parliament has already passed a resolution in favor of declaring IRGC as a terrorist organization. But this proposal It will come into action only when the member countries of the union give their approval to it. The US has included IRGC in the list of terrorist organizations in 2019 itself, alleging that it supports organizations like ‘Hezbollah’.
