Bangladesh Air Force Chief Sheikh Abdul Hannan: Bangladesh Air Force Chief Air Marshal Sheikh Abdul Hannan attended the Combined Graduation Parade of Flight Cadets of various branches of the Indian Air Force in Hyderabad on Saturday. Hannan said that the two countries have very close relations and relations have deepened since Bangladesh’s independence in 1971.

Hannan said, “Both countries have an important role to play in ensuring the security of the region. Our defense forces regularly hold joint exercises to ensure that our efforts are synergised. The Bangladeshi Air Force was established on 28 September 1971. It was in Dimapur, India. With that legacy today there is mutual trust and respect between the two countries.”

Very close relations between India and Bangladesh
Hannan said that India and Bangladesh have very close relations. Since the independence of Bangladesh in 1971, the relations between the two countries have become stronger. Strong ties remind me of the invaluable contribution of India and especially the Indian Air Force in the 1971 Liberation War.

Air Force will play an important role in future war
Advising the trainee cadets, Hannan said that in this age of technology, air and space power will play a major role in the warfare of the 21st century and will continue to do so in the future as well and there will be many security challenges in warfare in the times to come. Which can be effectively dealt with by continuously improving and upgrading technology capabilities.
