Cyprus Foreign Ministry On Foreign Minister S Jaishankar’s Visit Over Turkeys Issue

India Cyprus Relation: India’s Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar is going on an official visit to Cyprus on Thursday (December 29). In view of his visit, the Foreign Ministry of Cyprus issued a statement saying that he would complain to India about the provocative actions of Turkey.
Describing the program of the Foreign Minister, the Foreign Ministry of Cyprus said that after reaching Cyprus, Jaishankar will first talk to Foreign Minister Ioannis Kassoulides. In this conversation, both sides will discuss many other issues apart from bilateral relations.
On which issues will there be talk?
Cyprus and India are completing 60 years of diplomatic relations this year. During this, the foreign ministers of both the countries will talk to each other on economic relations with India, India’s relations with the EU. Apart from discussing this issue, India will also talk about the attitude of Cyprus and its neighboring countries. Cyprus has said that it will also talk to India on Turkey’s provocative action against it.
Which agreements will be signed?
The Cyprus Foreign Ministry said that the two ministers will sign a memorandum of understanding on defense and military cooperation, as well as documents to include Cyprus in the Global Solar Energy Alliance. He said that during this period the Interior Minister Mr. Nikos Nouris will also sign a declaration with the Foreign Minister of India to start dialogue with India on the issue of immigration.
