Covid In India: 4 cases of new variant of Corona surfaced in the country

Corona Omicron: Maharashtra Health Minister Tanaji Sawant has said that there has been a rapid increase in the cases of Kovid-19 in China during the last few days. Omicron is being held responsible for this. However, not a single case of the new variant of Omicron has been reported in Maharashtra so far. Passengers coming from countries where cases have been reported are being ‘thermal’ screened at the airport.
BF-7 cases not found in Maharashtra
Health Minister Tanaji Sawant told reporters in Nagpur that he has asked officials to be alert and vaccinate after detecting the infection. So far three cases of BF-7, a subtype of Omicron, have been reported in the country, which is responsible for the sudden spurt in the current Covid cases in China. In these three cases, two are from Gujarat and one from Odisha.
