The Foreign Ministry said on Thursday (February 2) that Austria is expelling four Russian diplomats for not properly following international agreements. It is being told that such action is often taken in cases of espionage.
Austria’s foreign ministry said in a statement that two of the four diplomats are posted at the Russian embassy, while the other two work at the Russian mission to the United Nations. Diplomats have been ordered to leave the country by 8 February.
