Action against Iran, after action on protesting women, UN has now taken a big step

Anti Hijab Protest: The United Nations has voted on Wednesday to exclude Iran from the women’s rights organization. Actually, America has taken this initiative regarding the brutal action on women regarding anti-hijab demonstrations in Iran. This organization is the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW), from which Iran has been shown the way out.

29 members voted in favor
29 members of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) voted in favor, while 8 countries voted against it and 16 countries voted against it. Didn’t even vote. It has been said in the resolution that Iran is excluded from the membership of the commission with immediate effect. UN resolution states that the government of Iran "The continued use of force continues to undermine the human rights of women and girls, including the rights to freedom of expression, opinion and freedom."

Iran is implementing policies against women
The resolution further states that "The government of Iran implements policies contrary to the human rights of women and girls, as well as the commission’s mandate, and the use of the police force, which has resulted in the deaths of peaceful protesters, including women and girls."

Protests after Mahsa Amini’s death 
The United Nations Commission is the leading global intergovernmental body, which primarily works to promote gender equality and the empowerment of women . Let us tell you that after the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini, protests had started all over Iran. Mahsa Amini was allegedly thrashed by the police for not wearing the hijab properly. However, after Mahsa Amini’s death, anti-hijab protests spread like wild fire in Iran and turned into the country’s largest civil uprising.

According to the office of the United Nations High Commissioner, more than 300 people have been killed in Iran in anti-hijab protests, including at least 40 children. Iran’s police have used force, even bullets, to stop protesters and demonstrations. At the same time, Iran has banned the internet to prevent the hijab protest from spreading further.
